The Miami Heat have agreed to a trade sending center Dewayne Dedmon and a second-round pick to the San Antonio Spurs, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic.

It's a cost-cutting move for the Heat, with HoopsHype's Yossi Goslan pointing out that the Heat go from $192,895 below the luxury tax to $4.9 million below, while also generating a $4.7 million trade exception.

Dedmon has fallen out ot the Heat's rotation, having only played once in their last 10 games. In the 30 games he's played in this season for Miami, he has averaged 5.7 points and 3.6 rebounds.
