NBA legend Shawn Kemp was arrested and booked at the Pierce County Jail in Washington on Wednesday night for an alleged drive-by shooting, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. 

Earlier today, the Tacoma Police Department announced that shots were fired in a local parking lot following an altercation between two drivers. No injuries were reported, and the gun was recovered.

At the time, the police announced that a 53-year-old male was booked for a drive-by shooting, and the jail's inmate listing verified that Kemp was indeed the man in question.

Roughly four hours after the incident occurred, Kemp was booked on the felony charge.

This isn't Kemp's first arrest. In 2005, he was arrested in Shoreline, WA, for drug possession after he was found with a small amount of cocaine, marijuana and a semi-automatic pistol. He pleaded guilty to the drug-possession charge.

The following year, Kemp was arrested again for misdemeanor marijuana possession. 

Kemp played in the NBA from 1989-2003, suiting up for the Seattle SuperSonics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Portland Trail Blazers and Orlando Magic. The six-time All-Star was one of the NBA's best dunkers. Over the course of his 14-year NBA career, he averaged 14.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 1.1 steals.
